Getting started
Before you are able to start using LiveTXT you will need to register for an account. You can do this by pressing the 'Register' button on the LiveTXT logon page.
Please enter your details in the fields. NB: to be able to place orders via text message from your cellphone your logon must be your cellphone number!
Once you have entered your details press the 'Save' button to register your account. That's it, now you are ready to logon to LiveTXT and start ordering.
Online Order
From within this page it is possible to directly place your order. This is done by selecting the specific items from the 'Products' list and any 'Extras' you would like to add to the product. Once you have completed your order simply press 'Order Now' and your order will be submitted.
Select Organisation and Outlet
This will be set to your preferred outlet. However if you wish to place an order at another LiveTXT organisation / outlet simply select the organisation from the dropdown list and then select an outlet from the outlet dropdown list. When you select your first product you will see the selected store abbreviation code as the first part of the Text Order codes. For example, if you select the Boulcott outlet for Ripe Coffee (and it is NOT your preferred outlet) then the order will be preceded with "BC:".
Store Status
The store status options are:
| Outlet Online |
The outlet is online waiting for your order. |
| Outlet Offline |
The outlet is offline and is unable to take your order at the moment. Please check back soon as this should be a temporary status. Some technical difficulty may be the cause of a store going offline. |
| Outside business hours |
The outlet is currently closed and unable to process your order. You will need to check back during opening hours. |
Select Products and Extras
This lists all available products and extras for the chosen outlet. As you select items from these lists they will appear in the 'Order' box and the 'Text' box. If you have selected an outlet other than your preferred outlet then the abbreviation code for this outlet will precede your order. Adding extras to your order, select the extra from the list and it will be added to your order. Multiple items can be ordered by selecting additional items from the products list. Individual items on the same order are separated by a character space.
Text Order
This field shows the correct order codes for the items ordered.
Once you are satisfied that your order is correct you can order this online by pressing the 'Order Now' button or by texting the code to the LiveTXT number.( 021 99 11 55 )
Favourites
Once you are satisfied with your order you can set the order as one of your favourites. Once set, you can place your 'favourite' order by simply texting the favourite word to the LiveTXT number( 021 99 11 55 ). You can have an unlimited number of favourites. The favourite feature works by substituting your favourite word (or words) for your chosen order.
For example, if you create a favourite 'WORK' as "49 Boulcott St, Wellington" and 'HOME' as "10 Downing St" you can order a taxi by TXT-ing 'TAXI from WORK to HOME' and LiveTXT will substitute the two addresses when placing the order with the taxi company. (In this instance the taxi journey could be quite long.)
Order Now
You can order your chosen order code immediately by pressing the 'Order Now' button. Acknowledgement of your order will still be sent to your cellphone as soon as the outlet staff member picks up your order.
History
The History page will show all the orders you have placed via LiveTXT. It will also show any pending orders and when they will be ready. This page will refresh automatically to let you know when any new orders are ready to be picked up.
